Contrary to popular belief...aka these pictures I am posting...Mykita LOVED the water! The lazy river was her favorite and she loved the toys on her floater...but she also had a good time with auntie Steph in the kiddie pool while her parents went on adult rides. --thanks Steph

4th of July!!

Cody's Mom came to IF for the fourth of July celebrations. Kita was very spoiled having both grandmas there!

So Mykita is getting really good at sounds and will copy whatever I say- if she is in the right mood. Tuesday night I was saying "I love my babygirl" and she would say "I yove"... and then laugh laugh laugh. She is so bright, intellegent, smart! -yes I am turing into a braggy proud parent!

more bathtime

Mykita is starting to LOVE bathtime. She is a little camera shy (ok she stares at the red light) so this is the best I could capture...but she normally kicks so much and so hard I end up pretty wet. She is also super cute in her ducky bath towel (thanks to grandma donna). Bathtime=fun time!

Finally the rollover!

...So after months of trying I have finally caught Mykita in the act. She just likes to stare at the camera whenever I turn it on. Yes, I know she is darling but what I really want to catch is not that adorable grin, but the rolling over. This morning, whenever I would leave the room I would hear squawking because she would triple roll into something. Anyone who has visited our puny apartment knows that there is not a lot of room, thus a few rolls would get her a face full of plastic roses, an elliptical, the rocker leg, and underneath the futon...after weeks of trying and an occasional roll here and there she has finally mastered the art and know has the uncontrollable urge to roll roll roll ...cry... mom to the rescue and roll roll roll some more. Unfortunately, I still have yet to get an awesome video but by hiding behind the computer and the futon I was able to capture this amazing footage!
