My husband the cabinent maker

Cody spent this weekend (after studying really hard for his tests all week and preforming awesome) making me a cabinent. His Dad taught him well in the art of wood working and he was able to build this on Friday...

...and then sand, stain, and finish on Saturday (thanks to Kensie for watching Kita)

The best part of this whole project is that Cody is letting me have all the space for my CRAFTS!!! yayayayayayayayayay. He is the best husband and so talented too!

Oh, how I wish I was an amazing photographer...it seems like whenever a chance for a good shot comes it is blurry or the flash needs to charge or the lighting isn't right...grr The lucky thing is I do have a very photogenic daughter even if she doesn't like to smile! (maybe it is the itchy grass, the headband falling in her eyes -and probably on too tight- or the sun in her eyes...

Contrary to popular belief...aka these pictures I am posting...Mykita LOVED the water! The lazy river was her favorite and she loved the toys on her floater...but she also had a good time with auntie Steph in the kiddie pool while her parents went on adult rides. --thanks Steph
