Christmas EVE!!!

I love family traditions and my favorite by far is Christmas Eve! The festivities start with a fondue dinner. My mom makes her delicious home maid white bread cut into squares and we dip it in this amazing cheese sauce. We also dip broccoli and then have steak. Then after all the family helps with the dishes we can finally open our Christmas Eve PJs. My mom out did herself this year by giving everyone matching pajamas (pictured above). With the help of Abby and her cricket, they made matching farkle shirts for everyone with screen printing ink and freezer paper and then the girls and boys all matched. She even made little pants for the little ones. It was so cute! I really get a thrill out of simple things like everyone matching! After everyone got on their pjs and finished dancing around we re-enacted the nativity. I am so happy that we have little ones to act now. It is so much fun having the little guys around. It will still be a few years before we get all the lines down but sometimes that takes away from the cuteness factor. I thought it was very clever of me to be prego mary and abby and will to be mary and baby.... if meghan wasn't occupied we were going to have her and luke be mary for the shepherds and then abby and will for the wisemen so we could see the baby grow.... Anyway the nativity was a little crazy because santa was coming and the omaha frandsen's had to make a visit to the other family so Paul rushed us along, but I hope everyone can enjoy it and feel the spiri tof the whole thing anyway. We are so blessed to have had the Savior born on this earth and I am so thankful for that amazing gift he gave us!

Christmas for Jeffrey....

So I wanted to send a little Christmas Elder Jeffy's way... I knew that he doesn't have a lot of room so I tried to make a little portable nativity. It's not as small as the one Valerie sent Paul (it fit into a matchbox) but with my clumsy fingers I thought fitting into a ringbox was pretty good. I also baked him a pie. No one appreciates my apple pie quite like Jeff!
