Dancing in the Car
Kita and I spend a lot of time in the car and she LOVES music! This is what I get to look at in my rear view mirror as we go to and from Provo:
A Sense of Wonder
The professor I TA for at BYU alwasys emphasises that students need to gain "a sense of wonder". Wednesday he told us a story about him blowing up something in the chem lab of his High School and his teacher did not appreciate his "sense of wonder." Well I can proudly say that Mykita has a sense of wonder. (I encourage this and the sad result is our house looking like it has blown up). On Wednesday, Mykita and I went with Paul and Stine to Red Robin. Mykita LOVED the milkshake! She started out with little bites from my spoon then decided to grab the straw and suck for herself. Then she decided that there might be a chance I would take it from her so she picked it up holding it close to her. I tried to get her to eat something that wasn't a milkshake so I handed her some fries. (...I know not much more healthy) She started to eat the fries...I could see the clockwork in her head go off as she thought "Hey! This fry is good and so is the milkshake...what if I put them together?" She dipped the fry into the shake = the result supreme delicousness! What a smart girl!

YAY KITA! She is finally taking long strolls around the house (ok she has for a week) but I finally got out the camera and got some good footage for ya'll. Isn't she a princess? Please don't look at the messy house...

Thesis Status
I am tired.... Motherhood has completely wore me out. I think I sleep twice as much as I used to(and that was a lot!) I am tired of thinking about my thesis and pretending that I am working on it all the time. I am ready to be done. But I am so tired...and it isn't completely the sleepy tired-- it is the I can't think straight tired--the it takes me hours to remember what I was doing tired -- the brains flowing out of my head tired -- the can't make a cognitive sentence tired... I need HELP any suggestions? How do people get their brains back after childbirth?

Brushing Teeth
Kita LOVEs her toothbrush...I think she would brish her teeth all night long if we let her! Hopefully she will get her daddy's teeth and not rotten mommas!
